The NutriEV Project is officially underway!

The NutriEV Project has officially launched, with the inaugural consortium meeting held in Oulu, Finland, on September 18-19. Funded by the European Union with €3.9 million, this innovative initiative is set to explore the transformative potential of extracellular vesicles (EVs) in nutrition, examining their applications as superfoods, biosensors, and possible therapeutic agents.

Coordinated by the University of Oulu in Finland, the NutriEV project unites a team of experts from the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche in Italy, the Technical University of Braunschweig in Germany, the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, and Zabala Innovation in Spain. Together, they bring a wealth of knowledge across fields such as nutrition, microbiome research, molecular biology, biosensor technology, organoid models, and clinical research.
